Empower Solar Consulting worked with Tres Birds Workshop and Focus Property Group to develop a commercial solar project on a LEED certified building renovation in downtown Denver. The 3330 Larimer project is a non-traditional commercial project in that the building will not be owner-occupied. Focus Property Group developed an economic plan where the tenants could still utilize the solar power while Focus Property Group would still benefit from the installation.

Project Specifications:

• 19.14kW grid-tied photovoltaic system. Sixty-six Schott 290W panels, the world’s single most powerful solar module, were installed with three SMA inverters. The solar racking is a proprietary design for commercial flat roof installations. For this project, the trusses were custom powder-coated to match the building. This system is complete with a web-based solar monitoring system from SMA.
